INEX-SDA | Hartenberg
Not only Hartenberg Civic Association but also INEX - Association for Voluntary Activities participates in organization of volunteering projects at Hartenberg the castle. INEX-SDA is a non-govermental and non-profit organization, which is concerned with international volunteering and global education. Every year INEX-SDA sends abroad hundreds of Czech volunteers to take part in short or long term projects and also accepts volunteers from all over the world, who come to take part in European Voluntary Service or short/long term projects (workcamps).
From two to three-week workcamps are focused on community service in many fields, for example protection and renewal of historical heritage, environment, culture, social work. This is a great opportunity how to learn cultures of other countries, how to help where necessary, how to meet new friends. Last but not least it's a chance to learn something about yourself, to learn something new in general.
Besides international volunteering, INEX-SDA is engaged also in global education projects, which are closely connected to the theme. Global education activities are held by volunteers who have participated in a project in a developing country and are interested in sharing their experience with public. Within the frame of global education, INEX-SDA organizes a programme GLEN and a campaign Football for development.
INEX-SDA is focused also on an environmental education and a development of countryside. This concept is mainly fullfilled in branches in Kostelecké Horky and Tvarožná Lhota. What is more, programmes for children and youngsters are realized in Brno.
